Prying1 on the Dictatorship of Relativism

Prying1 has a very pithy, thoughtful post prompted by Hugh hewitt's question to listeners, "What is the dictatorship of relativism":

On Hugh's radio Show he asked the question, "What is the dictatorship of relativism?" Lots of good answers on Hugh's show but the idea I got when I heard the words is that "Moral Relativism" demands complete obedience to nothing. If you believe that anything at all is ultimately true and unchangeable you are labeled as any evil name that will discredit you. Logical argument is not allowed for it would surely loose. No credence can be given to anyone of faith because it destroys all the denial that the moral relativist clings to. Hence the relativism becomes lord over their lives as they strive to reach nothing...

This would be funny if it were not so pitiable.

I'm somewhat abashed to admit that after frantically looking for the text of Ratzinger's homily, I would have seen it on Hugh Hewitt's blog if I'd just scrolled down a bit further.

The "dictatorship of relativism" inevitably leads to tyranny and persecution, so this is much more than "funny" or "pitiable". Their god is truly "Nothing", which allows them to avoid "Reality" and the necessary suffering that accompanies Life. Unfortunately, to continue such a lifestyle requires obliterating those who would shine any light into the darkness of their "Nothing". They avoid life through addiction, seek codependents to protect them from Reality, and cling to immaturity. And, in the end, they transmit the "Culture of Death" because they cannot allow Life to come close since it destroys their illusions of power and control.

Pope Benedict XVI will sure make it interesting.

It matters not that that this good priest was nine years old when Hitler was spilling beer and blood in Munchen. The Cardinal is German and all Germans are Nazis. Especially the ones from Bavaria. Typical Stalinist thinking fostered by NBC and News Weak. In their hidden from view hearts they probably also believe all Irish are drunks except for Chris Matthews on Wednesdays, all Italians are in the Mafia and AIDS is an alternate life style.

It is laughable that more people are upset about the Catholic church then Catholics.
We don't need married priests. We don't need women priests. We need our mother.
We can't amend the ten commandments and we know right from wrong as well as the meaning of is and oral office sex. You can't be a demoncrat and a Catholic it is unnatural and against God's law. Rat is also in semencrat depending on the issue at Cucumber High school. No diplomas just bushels and pecks.

The time has come to honor the German people for their contributions to America and stop playing the Nazi card. German Catholics went to Auschwitz also. Not everybody was in the SS. The finest German you will ever meet should you have the good fortune to do so is one who was a pow in the USA. They repay kindness with kindness. Many a German has made me feel a sense of American pride in my barracks town of Nuremberg . The only German terrorist I worry about is the UCLA mole on the supreme court, Ruth Bader Meinhoff Ginsberg.

Besides I read Pope John Paul's letter to the LAS VEGIANS entitled:SAME GAME .SAME RULES. IMUS SHOULD REPENT IN THE MEDIA TEMPLE. EXHANGE HIS COWGIRL HAT FOR A WHITE SKULLCAP. EVEN BETTER A TEN GALLON YARMULKE LETTERED VOTE BUSH AND LIVE.

If the next Pope chosen by God turns out to be a German then GOD MIT UNZ. If he turns out to be Nigerian that suits me fine Inshallah. I hope he picks one from the most religious Nation in the world. So we pinko Americans can re learn the faith of our fathers and be no longer prodigal sons. One thing is for sure Poland led the way back to Christ and we must all follow the road to heaven that John Paul took. Without God we are nothing.
