I'm a bit suprised to see this on NBC. Either way, they're right. Let's support our troops, our president, and the war on terror.

I think a lot of folks don't fully understand this war, or the nature of the enemy. This is perpetuated by the media, for the most part, only telling the down side, to try and undermine Pres. Bush. I share my office with a man with 21 years in the army, and five tours of Iraq during the two wars there, and he adds and "Amen" to the lest line from the soldier. Kind of lie being "Pro-choice, pro-child". Makes no sense to support the soldiers, but not their fight.

I disagree with both your comments wholeheartedly. I agreed with the POPE and the Vatican which told Bush explicitely NOT to invade Iraq back in 2003. Too many Americans put their president above their church, which is an unfortunate sign of the times.
Saddam was an evil Dictator and tyrant, but he also protected the Christians of Iraq and kept Al Qaeda and Islamic terrorism OUT of his country. And since he was deposed, Iraq is now a staging and breeding ground for Islamic terrorism, and will remain that way for generations to come. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deceiving themselves.
As I said, I did not support the invasion of Iraq, but I think the US has a responsibility to be there now, if not thing more than to safeguard Iraq's ever dwindling Christian population (and they aren't doing a very good job at that to date). I support our troops, but I do NOT support the policies and mistakes currently being made in Iraq to date by this administration. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
