Message to Fred Thompson: Please mean what you say here and please run!

As of right now, Thompson is my guy.
I just know I can't support that flip-flopping Romney. Or the "public funding abortionist" Rudy Giuliani.

He's even articulate.

I really hate these early campaign seasons. Senator Clinton threw her hat into the ring back in 2000, and we have been deluged with her unofficial campaign, and now her official one.
That said, its has not been a shining time for Republican candidates till now. I like Fred Thompson, but as Carolg said above: "Please mean what you say here and please run!"
I ran the idea of Thompson's candidacy past my wife, who is fairly liberal and saw perked up positively. But then she watches television and I don't.
The other guy, a real "dark horse" is Duncan Hunter. He doesn't have the presence of Senator Thompson, but he does seem to have the same commitment to strong morals and an ethical and conservative government.

Love that answer: "Pro Life". No hesitancy, no if and or but, strong and clear.
We have a website in Colorado about him - run by a Catholic.

I went to the Vigil/Passover/Baptismal Mass last night, amazing as always, from starting with the dark church and the lighting of the flame, the priest chanting the Word, the Veni Sancit Spiritus in plain chant, all the way to the triumphant recessional hymn Christ Our Lord is Risen Today.
Have a blessed easter, I'm off to help with the two later masses this morning (greeter and parking lot guard for one, Eucharistic minister for the other)
