Admittedly, trying to stay on top of the Catholic blogosphere right now is a formidable undertaking. Here's a quick round up of what I've come across:
- AOL's BlogZone has links to several Catholic bloggers poostings on the new Pope, including Catholic Light, Maternal Optimist, the Anchoress, The Seminarian, and The Happy Catholic, as well as us.
- The Ratzinger Fan Club has been overwhelmed. Crashed. Kaput. But in a good way.
- Relapsed Catholic comments: "Ratzinger's election will annoy all the right people." Perfectly stated.
Wow, thanks for the 100+ hits! And you won't be surprised to learn that that line is the one I'm getting the hate mail about :-)

I blog. (Sorta.) I'm Catholic. (Definitely NOT only "sorta".) Is this enough to make me a "Catholic blogger" and member of the "Catholic Blogosphere"?
My first reaction today was giddy excitement: White smoke!
Now, after a full day's reflection, my reaction is: giddy excitement! Andrew Sullivan is a ass
I have a feeling that I know what I'll be thinking when I wake up tomorrow.
