That's A Lot Of Hail Marys

From 9 a.m. to midnight, Wednesday to Friday of this week, 650 confessors will be available on rotation to young people attending World Youth Day.

At all times, 100 of the confessors will be present at the Center of Reconciliation to minister to penitents. The sacrament will be available in dozens of languages.

Too bad the Sacrament of Penance isn't that freely available everywhere. It's something I wish my diocese would make a bigger priority.

I just wish that more people in my parish would make use of the Sacrament! I've been to places where you have to stand in line--for a long time!--to make your Confession; in my parish, I'm usually the only one there on Saturday afternoon.
