Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) compares Obama to Jesus on the House floor.
.
Here’s the quote:
“Jesus Was a Community Organizer,
Pontius Pilate a Governor”
Wow! What else can be said. I think Cohen is Jewish, but gads.
.
Let's see.
Jesus Christ, son of G*d, Prince of Peace, Savior of the World..
.
Barack Hussein Obama, born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, before being rocketed to Earth as an infant by his scientist father Jor-El, moments before Krypton's destruction. No, that's Superman.
.
Oh wait, he's just the pro-infanticide junior Senator from Illinois!
.
Said what is truth? or in Obamese - "That's above my pay grade."
.
.
Pontius Pilate, Prefect of the Roman Province of Judaea.
Loved to give speeches in front of Doric columns, oh wait that's Obama.
Pilate said moral questions were "above his pay grade," oh wait that's Obama too.
.
Sarah Palin, pro-life Governor of Alaska, who actually acknowledges Jesus Christ as her Savior!
.
To continue the biblical "association" game.
Herod the Great (73 BC – 4 BC) Roman client king of Judaea. Supposedly observant Jew who nonetheless believed in the slaughter of innocent children.
.
Joseph Biden, Connecticut Senator. Supposedly observant Catholic who nonetheless believes in the slaughter of innocent children.
A little snarky... but accurate. (heh-heh-heh)

Jesus can accomplish anything that He wants to accomplish. That means He kicked the phony community organizers out of the temple during His public life. Let's get this straight, Jesus is the Supreme Community Organizer who will come again to "Organize" the living and the dead into 2 lines. The faithful or unfaithful servants. One line will be the sheep and the other line will be the goats.
So far, unless they repent, Obama and Joe Biden are Billy Goat Gruffs!

So, you can mention Jesus in the House if it seems to help the position of a Pro-abortion Democrat?
But, mention any of Jesus' or His Church's teachings and that is violation of separation of Church and state.
Maybe you could add:
US Congressional Abortophiles = Hypocritical Sadduccees

Pray without ceasing. We need to get together a group of committed Christians to pray for Sarah Palin 24 hours a day. I have never seen the Evil One so viciously attack one of God’s children.
I pray that Christ will place a Guardian Angel over her, because I fear that someone will try to take her life.
She is not being attacked because she is a woman, she is being attacked because she is a Christian woman who believes in prayer and who believes that all life is sacred.
All Saints and Angels, please help us and help Sarah Palin.

For the feeble minded, I would like you to understand that there is a big difference between and zygote, and embryo, a fetus, a new born and an infant.
In fact the word infanticide means to kill and infant. An infant is a baby that has come out of the womb and been born. It can live on its own.
A child (ref. children), is a baby who has aged over time and is no longer a baby or an infant.
Neither Joseph Biden nor Barack Obama are for the killing of children or infants. In fact, both believe that a woman can choose whether or not she would like to give birth to a child.
If you look at church doctrine, you will realize that is was only recently, relatively speaking, concerned with taking a stance or even mentioning at all abortion.
This happened because they were trying to up the number of Roman Catholics, since they were dramatically losing numbers and had in 1870 lost their power over Italy and been removed by the people in favor of a Republic.
If you take a look at a zygote or an embryo or a fetus you should be able to immediately tell the difference between those and a baby or an infant. There is a big difference.
Your propagandistic cartoon above only demeans your own self worth. It is amazing to see so many moralist bible thumpers stoop to such lowly, feeble minded, juvenile, no excuse me I mean infantile attacks.
All you have to do is study a little tiny bit of your own religious history to know that Western Civilization has been in the hands of madmen for two thousand years. Only with the cultural and scientific revolution, philosophy and the separation between church and state can we advance.
That is the way the founders of the United States wanted it: the separation between church and state.

an infant can't live outside the womb on its own, idiot, I doubt a five year old can if you want to go that far. thats about as much christian charity as I have right now so I'll shut up.

From the "you've got to be kidding" department comes a Canadian doctor expressing worry -- yes, worry -- that Sarah Palin's highly publicized decision to give birth to her Downs' Syndrome baby may reduce the number of abortions.
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/09/sarah-palin-dow.html
Has the world always been this insane?
P.S. sienna, you are so profoundly wrong about Church teaching on abortion I can only wonder what propaganda you've been reading. You may find it interesting that natural law philosophers who lived long before Jesus also spoke of the evils of abortion. Those honest with themselves innately know that abortion is profoundly, grievously wrong. The Church doesn't have to tell us it is, it only has to remind us it is after we've abused our consciences to the point that we accept wrong as right. Opposition to abortion does not begin with the Catholic Church but with God and how He made us. The Catholic Church merely repeats the eternal truth.

I need to take a monent and say a prayer asking for Charity.
Okay. I am harshly angered whenever atheists, Muslims and filthy morons (like Cohen and sienna) use the Holy Name of Our Lord and Savior to advance intrinsic evil.

sienna,
I have read the life of St. Catherine of Sienna. St. Catherine of Sienna is a friend of mine. sienna,.......You are 'NO' St. Catherine of Sienna!

To Robert: Church state in Italy wasn't "removed by the people". It was a revolutionary minority with the help of foreign powers, as it was in 1917 Russia.

Our conservative radio stations here in Houston have made fun of that statement all day by playing it over and over. So Christ was a "community organizer"?
Spoken by a man that has no clue. The part about Pontius Pilate being a governor was also laughable.
because three of the recent presidents have been former governors; Reagan, Carter (gag), and Clinton-(gag, gag). Nobody challenged them for lack of "experience", they only have done this to Mrs. Palin.

a zygote, embryo or fetus is not an infant in the same way a three month old is not an adult. the person is at a different stage of development, but that does not make it non-human and not deserving of rights and protections. A human life is a human life, regardless of the stage of development it happens to be in at any given moment. unfortunately many have convinced themselves otherwise. the sheer ferocity in which sienna makes her (false) argument suggests that she desperately needs our prayers. Please pray for her and those like her.

for some of us, we have to pray to God to give us the desire to pray for people like sienna. baby steps.

Don't forget Obama's complaint that he doesn't want his daughters to be "punished by a pregnancy":

The best response I've heard to the "Jesus was a community organizer ..." line;
I know Jesus Christ and Obama is no Jesus Christ.
