"Look, I got two daughters -- 9 years old and 6 years old. ...
I am going to teach them first about values and morals,
but if they make a mistake,
I don't want them punished with a baby."
Senator Barack Obama
They have mouths, but they do not speak;
They have eyes, but they do not see;
Psalm 135:16
Punished with a baby? An unplanned pregnancy can certainly be complicated and these complications are certyainly magnified when the mother is unwed. However, the ultimate punishment on earth is death and trying to "protect" ones daughters by delivering this punishment to an unborn child is the worst example of misguided parenting.

No. Punishment will be when the idiots that believe it's the government's responsibility to provide for them elect the socialist and they get to re-experience (Jimmy Carter all over again) 20% unemployment with 20% inflation.

Sir,
The law of the land allows the heir privilege or the property right to the child in the womb. Therefore law itself recognise that from the conception of the moment is child in the womb is a man.

B.O. is a neo-communist. Things will be far worse than when Carter was president. This guy has for a buddy a communist/terrorist who spoke of "eliminating" 25 million capitalists in America and sending many more to re-education camps.
Another friend of B.O. is a wanna-be African communist dictator who named his son after Fidel Castro and incited his mohammedan tribe to murder Christians.
If you want to get a preview of what we are headed for -- watch the movie Dr. Zhivago.
The left-wing complains that Bush trampled on the Constitution. There may not be any Constitution left in four years.
You probably think I am engaging in hyperbole, but I am serious. If this guy is elected we are really in for it.

Patrick: excellent points.
Young, genius Bill Ayers awoke (from a cannabis haze, no doubt) one morning in sophomore year at whatever Commie Indoctrin. Univ. and decided he should bomb the oppressive capitalist racist system out of existence; kill 25,000,000 capitalist pigs; and set up Heaven on earth.
Now, he's attempting the exact same (funded with capitalists' trust fund $$$) by brainwashing kids instead of educating them with useful skills to earn a living in the real world.
Obama/Pelosi/Reid will ruin us by legislation and activist judges.
The lying liberals keep whining about abusing (waterboarding, international wire taps, etc.) the Constitution and 'war crimes.' Does anyone remember the women and children that were killed at Waco? Does anyone remember how 'they' greased the skids for the September 11 massacres?
Heaven help us.

If you constantly call light darkness, then you can be sure that ultimately you will label darkness light. It's a law of spirituality. We're seeing this in increasing numbers of the Democratic party...and vast numbers of the American population. Not only is abortion not bad, it's a good to be advocated and voted for; not only is euthanasia not bad, it's a good; they don't disagree with Bush, he's another Hitler or fascist; the freedom inherent to abuse and greed in a capitalistic system isn't just problematic, it is corrupt and need of "change".
It's been my consistent experience that persons who quickly label someone's error/mistake as a lie -- or calls someone a liar very quickly -- is generally projecting his own lying inclination on the other person. This will turn out to the the case with the Left today. Remember all those charges of election-day cheating and the hijacking of the election? Now look at the cheating and hijacking going on by leftist organizations. They don't care about cheating...they assumed because they cheat that Bush and everyone else cheated. They will, I'll bet, end up being the liars, traitors, cheats/frauds, and fascists that they have been calling Bush these past eight years. If Obama is the person they think him to be, about 3,000 of his appointments will soon be in postions in power--positions that will have very real effects on us everyday; and when fascist-types come in to power there is no action that won't become possible--for the "good" of society, for sure.

THis has to stop!! We are turning this election into somthing that it is not.And I am soo sad to see this blog with its nearly racist comments. The Catholic Church will be the same on November 3 as it will be on November 5th. Yes, lets fight abortion, but I will not sit here and allow prejudice and inuendo determine my vote.

Reggie,
Would you please be more specific. Which comments were racist?
Posted by: Patrick | Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 06:53 PM
You nominate Armstrong Williams, Michael Steel, Thomas Sowell for Prez and not only will I vote for them, I'll give their campaigns $$$.
This is a Catholic Blog. "Forgive all injuries."
"Prejudice and Innuendo" Department:
My net worth is (I estimate) $200,000 light because I am a serial victim of racism/sexism. I'm a white, now over-middle-aged man who numerous times was passed over for corporate promotion for younger, less experienced, less educated black/women affirmative action statistics. Reparations! Obama is on record about that - although silent the last eight months. That nobody Powell is an affirmative action whore/politician lifer who, if he had been white, would not have made Lt. Col. My ancestor was killed in the Union Army at First Bull Run. I served in VN. It don't mean nothing.
"Pray for those that persecute you."
If that most radical, most secular progressive, most far-left radical, most liberal uber-abortionist gets elected, I'll go "John Galt" and move to Gov. Palin's Alaska. Do they have Monday night football in Alaska?

Before Pope Benedict came to America to celebrate Mass in New York and Washington, it was revealed that as a young boy in Germany he had had a cousin with Down Syndrome. One day a Nazi doctor came and claimed his cousin for the Third Reich. Taken to be “cared for” at the “hospital” young Joseph Ratzinger never saw his cousin again: one of the host of “useless eaters” marked for extermination by that brutal regime.
My wife and I operate St. Joseph’s House, a daycare and respite care home for handicapped children. As it happened one of the children we care for, a wheelchair bound young lady, was chosen along with three other handicapped folks to carry the gifts up to the altar before the consecration at the Mass at Nationals Stadium in Washington D.C. on April 17, 2008. One of these was James, a 30ish man who works in the Officer’s Club at Andrews AFB. James has Down Syndrome. He was chosen to carry the large host which would become the Body of Christ lifted up before the assembled. As James with great ceremony advanced toward the Pope, his native enthusiasm overcame his reserve and he started to run. Simultaneously the Holy Father leapt from his chair and walked towards James with his arms outstretched. We have a picture of this moment which I cannot look at without tearing up. What did he see as he gazed so lovingly at James? I believe he saw his cousin. I believe he saw the face of Jesus. And I believe that his great prayer as he elevated that host on that impossibly beautiful day was “As long as you did to these the least of my brethren, you did it to Me.”
The next day April 18th, a boy was born to of all people, the Governor of Alaska. They named him Trig.

Father John Corapi has just released a short video addressed to all Catholic voters about voting with a well formed conscience and what is at stake in this election. Must viewing for every Catholic- and non-Catholic- alike. If only all of our Bishops and priests were this clear!
You can view the video/download the audio here:

Yes, the Catholic Church is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and that is why NO Catholic in good standing or in good conscience can vote for Obama. Period. Race has absolutely nothing to do with it and I resent the "innuendo" by those who try to inject race into this issue. It is a false claim and is only a tactic to create distraction from the real issues.
